Freaks in Common Culture

Freaks and otherness still are pervasive in common culture. In these trailers we see depictions of freaks on screen. The first is the 1932 movie "Freaks" that the P.T. Barnum Circus freaks take revenge when one of their ilk is hoodwinked by an evil normal bodied preformer. The second is for the popular contemporary tv show "American Horror Story: Freak Show" who uses lengendary freaks and macbre circumstances terrify and amaze viewers.
